Event description

This morning we have a presentation by Hew Helps. During the presentation you will learn about many of the scams and how to check, how to avoid viruses and what to do about them, and protecting others and educating them on when to ask for help.

Who will benefit from attending?

Hew Helps Digital ExpertAnyone who has digital access to the outside world or knows someone who has.

What will attendees learn?

How to recognise scams, virus intrusions and other invasions of your digital life.

How you should keep safe on line and what to do when receiving possible scam enquiries.

What qualifies you to deliver the presentation?

I have been working with both Apple (IIe first) and PCs since 1981, using these for fish farming and then dairy/arable farming. Having retired from farming in 2000, I worked with LearnDirect teaching farmers how to make use of computers in their business.
I now provide support for the small and micro business in the Pewsey/Swindon area on safe and productive use of both Apple products and PCs.

There’s more?

Plus, of course, we’ll have round table intros (30-60 seconds – we ask that you don’t overrun), and networking.

The meeting closes at 9-00.

Come along and join us – you will be most welcome.

Business Village is a great way to network and to develop your business and your personal skill. Come along and try us out.

Although free, we do ask that you register and that you do attend, as we are limiting this first event to 20 places on a first-come first-served basis.

Once you have booked, we’ll send you a confirmation email straight away. We’ll then send you some joining instructions the day before the event. If you fail to receive either of these emails, and you have checked your spam folder, please get in touch with us.
