This morning we have a presentation by Cathy Brode. Two years after the GDPR came into force and Data Protection and privacy is as important as ever. What has been happening up to ‘lockdown’ and considerations to ensure you continue to meet the requirements of Data Protection legislation in these challenging times.
Who will benefit from attending?
All who are working from home and/or have staff who are working from home.
What will attendees learn?
What has happened in the last two years since the GDPR came into force. How to support your staff who are working from home to ensure that you and your company continue to meet the requirements of Data Protection legislation.
What qualifies you to deliver the presentation?
A software techie by training, I have worked in and with information security and quality management systems for over three decades, and as an Information Governance and Data Protection consultant for just under one of them.
I enjoy taking the mystification out of Data Protection and Privacy and showing companies that it is common sense, and how to meet the requirements of Data Protection Legislation.
Plus, of course, we’ll have round table intros (30-60 seconds – we ask that you don’t overrun), and networking.
The meeting closes at 9-00.
Come along and join us – you will be most welcome.
Business Village is a great way to network and to develop your business and your personal skill. Come along and try us out.
Although free, we do ask that you register and that you do attend, as we are limiting this first event to 20 places on a first-come first-served basis.
Once you have booked, we’ll send you a confirmation email straight away. We’ll then send you some joining instructions the day before the event. If you fail to receive either of these emails, and you have checked your spam folder, please get in touch with us.
